The U.S. has many breed-specific magazines, but none that are dedicated to the many Warmbloods bred for sport. Hence the birth of Warmbloods Today,
a bi-monthly journal bringing sport horse owners, riders, trainers and breeders together in one forum. It’s no secret that European bloodlines have changed the face of the modern sport horse. Without the dedication and diligence of breeders, trainers and importers of these horses, our competitive edge as a country would be dismal. We have many devoted professionals and horses to thank!
Warmbloods Today is not a magazine about training horses. Nor is WT an equine wellness guide. There is a myriad of magazines, websites, videos and books already covering these topics. Instead WT’s articles will focus on what’s REALLY happening out there with every day people and their sport horses. Our goal is to entertain you as well as connect you with other horse owners, breeders, competitors and sellers of these partners in sport. WT will cover horses from the various “Warmblood” breeds which is a term we use loosely due to the popularity of crossbreeds today. We’ll include all breeds with European decent along with the American Warmblood.
We invite you to send us your stories about how one of these great animals touched your life which we may publish in a future issue of WT. You also may respond to one of our articles in a “Letter to the Editor,” or you can submit your “Point of View” on a particular topic. See the Editorial section for any submissions.
Please enjoy our unique magazine and the special horses we will feature. It's for you, so we welcome your feedback.
